Thanks for the feedback. To reassure you, we had our own door person at the top of the stairs who was polite and comradely. The person who spoke to you was someone from the pub itself rather than from the club. Would hate you to think it was one of our club people who were rude to you, and I'm sorry that happened. Will investigate privately with you and raise all issues with the relevant people. I think you're right that it may need to be at least partially ticketed in future.
