This is a live recording of a song that was mainly written by my Mum while on holiday in Glasgow during the Con/Dem “Emergency Budget”.
I tacked on a chorus and the result is this little ditty, the tune of which is based on an old music hall song.
It’s getting something of a cult following at demonstrations now.
The wonderful Liverpool Socialist Singers have added it to their set list too.
The recording is from my performance at the official TUC demo at Lib Dem Conference in Liverpool 2010.
