I’ve decided to cancel the Woody Guthrie Folk Club April event as I am overwhelmed with work this month and everyone’s focus is on the May Woody 100 event.

Remember that in May, Woody’s daughter Nora is coming to talk to us and it will be held at the changed venue of Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

May 31st sees us shift to The Phil’s Rodewald Suite to welcome Woody’s daughter NORA GUTHRIE and Lonnie Donnegan’s son PETER DONNEGAN to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Woody Guthrie’s birth.

Oh we just can’t wait for the next Woody – so it’s a good job that it’ll be a week earlier for this month only.

The rest of the year reverts to our usual Last Thursday in the month but in January we’ll be meeting up a week earlier on Thursday 19th January.
