Alun Parry in Welcome To Paradise Road

10603745_193183801056163_8595346809650261908_nI will be putting down my guitar for a while next month to appear in the Orwellian political thriller, Welcome To Paradise Road.

It’s a brand new play by Brian Coyle, and will be staged in Liverpool.

It’s a thought provoking piece. Set in a UK police state where there are no limits to the surveillance society, we see how neighbour uses power against neighbour. It raises many questions about the nature of surveillance already in place in our own society.

Directed by Emma Bird, it also stars Sarah Maher and Emily Heyworth.

It will be performed at 5 different venues in April.

05 April 2016, 9:00pm – Zanzibar, Seel Street, Liverpool L1 4AZ
08 April 2016, 8:00pm – Quaker Meeting House, 22 School Lane, Liverpool L1 3BT
09 April 2016, 3:30pm – Treasure House Theatre, World Museum, William Brown Street, Liverpool L3 8EN
13 April 2016, 12:00pm – Liverpool Small Cinema, 57 Victoria St, Liverpool L1 6DE

Entry is £7. Pay on the door.

Keep an eye out too for my new song Welcome To Paradise Road. It will be released soon!
