So The Festival Is Over

wcmf120 I can barely believe it. The Liverpool Working Class Music Festival 2009 is now officially over.

What an amazing four days we had though!!

Chumbawamba were great last night to finish us off. Tracey was superb. And Attila was sidesplittingly funny. You have to see his Swine Flu Rap.

Thanks to all the performers over the past 4 days.

I’ll be gigging again with Attila for The Sophie Lancaster Foundation in Rawtenstall tonight. Nice to hear the applause and cheers everytime Sophie was mentioned last night.

It’s only an hour up the road. Come and see me and Attila and support the Sophie foundation tonight. Check the details on the gigs page.

I’ll be travelling to Cardiff tomorrow for my gig at Rumney Folk Club, and at the wonderful Red Shed in Wakefield on Saturday.

No rest for the wicked and all that.

But with these cracking three gigs lined up and a wonderful four day festival still fresh in the memory, I wouldn’t want it any other way!!!

Thankyou Alun for putting on such a fantastic event. Liverpool are so lucky to have this. I didn’t know what to expect but it far exceeded what I could have imagined. All four nights were absolutely brilliant, can’t believe how you did it!
