Named In Preston FM’s Top 3 of 2009
I’m proud and pleasantly surprised to discover that Preston FM has named “Who is Alun Parry?” as number 3 in their New Year countdown of most “interesting things we have learned” during 2009.
There are two sound clips below so give them both a listen.
Paul and Lucy interviewed me earlier this year and the interview, featured on Preston FM today and last week. I speak about music, inspiration, the Working Class Music Festival, and AFC Liverpool.
[audio: prestonfmparry.mp3]Paul and Lucy first met me at a benefit for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Find out about this fantastic organisation by clicking here.
The Sophie Lancaster Foundation rightly won the No 1 spot, and I’m interviewed here along with Attila The Stockbroker talking about the foundation.
[audio: prestonfmsophie.mp3]To see a grainy, live version of my as yet unrecorded song for Sophie (mentioned in the interview), check out the video below, filmed at Hove Folk Club.
