I was on the march today with my family and saw you at the Derby Ward Labour Club. It was a real bonus to hear you sing – we were only expecting a pasty! I’d been trying to explain what the protest was all about to my 11 year old daughter, without success until she heard your lyric about the comparative treatment of bank robbers and robbing bankers. She then began to understand what the day was about. Thank you!

I bloody LOVE it!! It’s great. I really enjoyed watching the footage from today and feel very proud that you chose me as the soundtrack.
I’m glad you enjoyed the show too. Hope to see you again soon. I had a soft spot for Bolton anyhow, but it’s getting even softer each time I play there.

I’m glad I improved on the pasty hehe. But I’m beyond delighted that the song helped your daughter understand the day better.
Big hugs to you all – I’m uplifted and inspired by the whole day – and that vid is just brilliant!!

I’ve checked out the video and my two girls are chuffed to bits to see themselves on youtube! I’ve forwarded the link to my colleagues in social work. A lot of them were on the march from the hospital on Wednesday morning and they said the atmosphere was fabulous with people coming out of their houses to wave and applaud. The only surreal moment was when a man shouted get a job?!?!
