Two Hour Gig In Wales This Saturday

I’ll be performing a full two hour show this Saturday in lovely Denbighshire at The Raven Inn community owned pub in Ffordd Rhiw lal
(see gigs for more information).

I’m delighted to be at this venue as it holds a story in itself. When the businessmen pulled out and shut the pub, the community stepped in to keep a vital village focus open and running.

It is now staffed by volunteers from the village itself and is a great story about how people can make their community better, and run it better than the suits. All profits are ploughed into community projects.

I’ll be proud to play there, and Rich Man’s Ruin will be playing there in 2011 too.

The gig is free entry and all starts at 8ish.

Lucky you. My partner and I spent the October school half-term down there and it’s a beautiful part of the country. The Raven is an inspiration to cooperative enterprise everywhere.
