Well Done Good Intentions

I bet you don’t want to just read about what I’m up to all the time. So let me put you onto a group of cracking people who are good mates of mine and share some of their fab news.

The Good Intentions have just won the Maverick New Song competition for this year.

Maverick, as you probably know, is a national magazine which deals with the rootsy end of the Americana scene.

They ran a competition to find the best song of 2009 and the song Black Train by The Good Intentions only went and won it.

I’m thrilled to bits. Followers of mine will remember TGI at my last album launch where they wowed the crowd with their terrific harmonies and memorable tunes.
